The Creation Station has a couple of special weekend ‘family fun‘ sessions coming up in Twickenham for Mother’s Day and Easter. The Mother’s Day session takes place on Saturday 3rd March from 10.30am-12.30pm – children will be creating a wooden memo/picture holder and fingerprint keyring, with other options available on the day too. The Easter session takes place on Saturday 31st March from 10.30am-12.00pm – children will be creating funny Easter egg characters and cress-head Easter pots. Both sessions are suitable for children aged 2-11yrs; they cost £12.00 and need to be pre-booked.

Creation Station RichmondThe Creation Station is an innovative and award-winning programme for pre-school children. Its hands-on art & craft exploration sessions give even very young children the chance to safely experiment with a wide range of materials, tools and ideas. In Ham, Carys Harvey is leading the weekly, term-time programme at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Church Road TW10 (as well as running classes in Twickenham).

The classes are suitable for children aged fifteen months to five years old, along with their parents/carers:

Creation Station RichmondLittle Explorer classes (15 months – 5 years): These classes support children to explore materials and concepts, discover new techniques, ideas, and develop skills and confidence. Every week you can inspire your child’s imagination and nurture their creativity with fun, hands-on arts & crafts activities – with no stress or mess for you!

Carys is DBS checked, first-aid and safeguarding-trained, and she loves The Creation Station’s programme and the benefits it can bring:

“I am really excited about bringing The Creation Station to Richmond Borough. Our aim is to inspire children’s imaginations through our specially designed art & craft activities and products. As well as being terrific fun for both child and adult, the sessions encourage positive parenting skills through practical creative play. Creating their own piece of art each week also helps develop a child’s thinking and creative skills. Another plus point for parents is that even when we get messy using paints and clay they don’t have the worry and stress of cleaning up like they would at home!”
