HartbeepsHartbeeps is an educational, interactive and fun class that grown-ups can enjoy together with their little ones. Classes have been designed by child development experts and combine music, dramatic play, story telling, creative movement and baby signing. Each magical session is specially created to help little ones grow in confidence, develop social skills, and attain the appropriate developmental milestones, as well as giving some precious bonding time in a truly fun and entertaining way. Each week the Hartbeepers play with friendly characters and exciting props, all set to Hartbeeps original music of classic and remixed rhymes and lullabies, and following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. There are also lots of bubbles, sparkles and magic sprinkles, guaranteed to make people come back for more!

There are three stages of the Hartbeeps programme, with a different sound journey and adventure each week where children might, for example, find themselves going to the farm, the seaside or even into space:

Hartbeeps Baby Bells– Baby Bells (6 weeks to sitting): these lovely, gentle sessions use elements of baby yoga, baby massage and calming techniques to guide little ones and new mums through the magical, imaginary Baby Land and experience remixed nursery rhymes and lullabies. They’ll meet friendly puppet characters, be introduced to beautiful, sensory props and discover sparkly parachutes – all designed to delight those freshly acquired senses and help babies to uncurl and develop.

Hartbeeps Baby Beeps– Baby Beeps (sitting to toddling): a sound safari transports babies through a buzzing, bouncing, rhythmical world where early babbles are transformed into song. Working with babies’ innate desire to communicate and their ability to tune into rhythm, Babybeeps uses bright and beautiful props, puppets and bubbles, together with signing, to encourage both language and physical development.

Hartbeeps Happy House– Happy House (walking to 4 years old): these sessions keep busy toddlers and pre-schoolers happy and occupied as they are taken on a big, bold, confidence-building adventure every week. Younger siblings are welcome too.

Abi Hardesty has recently brought Hartbeeps classes to the area, and classes are now available in Teddington & Brentford (Mondays), St Margarets (Tuesdays), Whitton (Wednesdsys), Richmond & Twickenham (Thursdays) and Hampton (Fridays). Abi discovered the classes when working as a nanny in Chiswick, and instantly fell in love with the magic of the sessions, as well as immediately seeing the classes’ benefits to children’s development and learning.

Classes can be attended on a drop-in basis, or you can make savings by signing up for a whole term. For more information, take a look at the Hartbeeps website, where there is also an online booking system. Trial classes are on offer at £5.00, but you can get a FREE taster class if you’re a Richmond Mums member! You can contact Abi by emailing abi@hartbeeps.com.
